Raiz da Terra is located in the North of Portugal and its main aim is the propagation of ornamental plants through the process of cutting. The enterprise delivers the plant in plant tray or pots of 8cm, according to the orders previously made by the client.

            Raiz da Terra produces the plant according to the client’s needs, bearing in mind that the production must be ordered in anticipation, from one season to another.

            In the case of the Conifers the order must be made until December to be delivered in the next October. The bushes (shrubs) must be ordered until March to be delivered in February of the following year.

            At this moment Raiz da Terra has got plants in a covered area of 2.0ha, in the open air 1.5ha and mother-plant in 7.0ha of a land. It produces about 500 different varieties.
